Pre-launch placeholder. The headings below set out the structure of the live agreement. Master Subscription Agreement and Order Form templates are available on request from your account contact.
1. The service
Trillic provides a hosted document automation service for UK conveyancing firms. The service is delivered as software-as-a-service over the public internet and is described in the Order Form between Trillic Ltd and your firm.
2. Your firm's responsibilities
- Authorise users from your firm and keep that list up to date.
- Ensure documents you submit are lawful for you to handle and to share with a processor.
- Review every Trillic output before it leaves the platform. Trillic does not auto-send drafts to clients or third parties.
3. Our responsibilities
- Provide the service with reasonable skill and care.
- Keep your data in UK-region infrastructure and process it under the Data Processing Agreement.
- Maintain the security controls described on the Security page.
- Give you reasonable notice of material changes to the service.
4. Fees and term
Subscription fees, term and renewal terms are set out in the Order Form. Annual billing is the default. Trillic does not publish list pricing because it varies by firm shape; an honest quote follows the demo.
5. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information in confidence and to use it only to perform the agreement. Document content submitted by your firm is treated as confidential information.
6. Intellectual property
Your firm owns its documents and any outputs generated from them. Trillic owns the platform, the workflows, and any improvements made to those that are not specific to your firm. Edits made by your fee earners that improve your firm's drafts stay inside your tenant.
7. Liability
Trillic's liability is set out in the Master Subscription Agreement, with carve-outs for confidentiality breaches, data-protection obligations and fraud or wilful misconduct. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
8. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
